To regulate the administration of field station networks, field stations of CAS were adjusted to four comprehensive observation research networks and six special observation networks. The comprehensive observation research networks include the Chinese ecosystem research network (CERN),the High-cold observation and research Network for land surface process & environment of China (Horn),the Solar-terrestrial space environment observation network and the Offshore Marine observation research network.The six special observation networks are ChinaFlux,Chinese phenological observation network,Global Atmosphere Watch,CAS-GAW,Remote sensing experiment and ground observation network,Geodetic network and Land surface process observation network.
