On August 28,2014, Prof. Bob Su from the University of Twente, Prof. Jiming Jin from the Utah State University,Prof. Lifang Sheng from the Ocean University of China,and Prof.Xingqin An from the Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences visited the Key Laboratory of Land Surface Process and Climate Change in Cold and Arid regions and gave sereinars. Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences Prof. LV Daren attended the BBS.
Prof. Su reported the recent progress on studies of land surface hydrological process,Prof. Jin showed the recent ourcome from in-depth analysis of the causes of the north American monsoon, Prof. Sheng discussed the characteristics of marine arroaols over the south China sea, and Prof. An introcuded the adverse effect of air pollution on human health and the application of air quality models to air pollution mitigation.
